In 1998 LocalLink began its ISP division by offering dialup Internet access in a handful of Michigan cities. These were truly underserved cities, in many cases LocalLink was the first provider of full Internet access. We often times had a list of clients already signed up, waiting for the lines to be activated in a new city rollout. Those were the days!

Over time LocalLink grew to cover all of Michigan and continued to expand to a national coverage. LocalLink also grew out of pure dialup and offered high speed access, wireless, and Satellite Internet access. LocalLink was constantly searching for new ways to best provide access to our clients.

In 2007 the decision was made to sell the ISP division and focus on the development aspect of the company. The ISP is still in existance, run by the great people of CISP in Ohio. It can be found at
